The sequel to the highly anticipated film "The SZN" is heading into pre-production, with casting now complete for the upcoming installment.
As the franchise gears up to begin filming later this year, its momentum shows no signs of slowing down. Following the successful release of the first film in 2023, director Malcolm Dwain Carter has ambitious plans, envisioning a trilogy and a spin-off film. Additionally, "The SZN" universe will expand into television, introducing new and legacy characters in an upcoming series.
"The SZN" initially debuted as a test pilot at "The Cinematic Affair" in 2021, hoping to launch a television series. Following its positive reception, the project evolved into a full-length feature film, blending themes of business family drama with elements of cybercrime.
The sequel, "The SZN of Bad Blood," promises heightened stakes and escalating tensions for the Perry family and other key players. "After a significant tragedy, the Perry family confronts a dilemma that completely alters their world," teases the synopsis.
Most of the original cast will reprise their roles, joined by new talent from Houston and Dallas, enriching the story further.
Stay tuned for more updates as "The SZN" continues to captivate audiences with its compelling narrative and dynamic characters.
